Blackberry Whiskey Sour


  • 2 parts TX Whiskey
  • 0.75 parts fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 parts blackberry simple syrup

Blackberry Simple Syrup

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups granulated white sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries

Bring water to a boil. Add sugar and blackberries and stir in. Turn down to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Let cool then strain out blackberries while firmly pressing on them to retrieve all the flavor. Chill.


Mix all ingredients and shake hard. Strain over ice in fresh glass with a blackberry garnish.
